Workshop

Sunday, October 2            4:00 pm.

Led by Ivy Omere of The New York               Shakespeare Workshop Company,  absolute beginners and more experienced    Shakespearean thespians are invited to work on  Shakespeare’s King Richard III.  The workshop will be in the fashion of an ensemble theater company with games and exercises specifically designed to develop listening and responding skills. We will work together in a circle and will rehearse and perform scenes from the play. There will also be the opportunity to learn tried and tested vocal exercises for the correct use of the voice both for theater and for life.  Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a small cushion.  Nominal charge of $5 each for participants.  Maximum number of attendees is 14, so get your reservations in early so you won't be left out.
