On Sunday, March 18, 2012, the Bronxville Women's Club proudly presented author Dorothy Huff Oberhaus as its speaker. Mrs. Oberhaus' topic was "The Many Moods of Emily Dickinson." Emily Dickinson is considered one of America's foremost poets, and Dorothy Oberhaus is one of the country's foremost authorities on Emily Dickinson. Mrs. Oberhaus has two books published about Emily Dickinson and another on its way. She is a professor at Mercy College.
Violinist Joyce Balint and pianist Ayuko Mueller provided music both before the program and during Afternoon Tea following the program. A festive Tea was hostessed by Alexandra Burckhardt.
