Students' Recitals October 23 and December 4
The October 23 recital opened the third season of the Bronxville Women's Club offering recitals to Westchester students and/or music teachers in the concert hall of the Clubhouse. The concert hall has near perfect acoustics and gives the children a chance to perform in a professional setting. There will be one more concert this season: April 29. There is no charge to the students and the audience, and the club provides an accompanist if the children need one.
New this year is a "performance-in-training" session for beginning and elementary children who would like to perform, held before the regular recital. Also, children who have not performed on stage before, and will perform on the regular recital, get a chance to try out performance protocol at this performance.
