The Bronxville Women's Club, Inc.

The Beaux Arts Reception was a huge success!  There were 32 artists and photographers who entered 71 pieces of art work and photography.  The Bronxville Women's Club looks fabulous with all these very fine works in the upper two rooms.  The exhibit is up through April 28, so come in and take a look if you haven't already.  Some pieces are for sale, too!  Inquire at the BWC if you would like to purchase a piece or two.

Thanks to our judges:  Florence Restivo Kooluris, proprietor of The Fine Arts Gallery in Bronxville..  Nancy Little, Director of the National Academy School of Fine Arts in NYC. Richard A. Restiano, Sr., owner/partner of Arista Camera in Bronxville.  They all worked very hard to choose the winners--a very difficult task considering the high quality of work represented in the competition. 

April 3rd was exciting at the club with over 100 guests.  Thank you to Tomaz Skrypak and Dave Sorensen for hanging the art; Mike Lunapiena, cellist, for providing beautiful background music; the members of the BWC for the magnificent reception table laden down with a wide variety of food and snacks; and the lovely young ladies from the Bronxville High School Art Class for their help all afternoon.

The blue ribbon winners will go on to the Beaux Arts Finale in July where they will compete with the winners from all the Beaux Arts Exhibitions this year (seven in all).  The reception for the Finale will be Sunday, July 24, from 2-5 pm at the Bronxville Women's Club.  No charge--everyone invited!
